Wednesday: Speech Therapy Day Once Again

So I’ve been getting speech therapy for about a month and although I’ve learned a few new words I’m still not interested in speaking.

I’m more interested in looking through my therapist’s books, riding on my horse, leaving the room, and generally doing everything but listening to what my therapist has to say.

Does Mommy really think that my continued lessons will help me? Yes, she does. Do I really care? No, I don’t.

Maybe next time instead of bringing just books that I only care to look through for about 2 minutes she can bring some toys that would hold my attention a little bit more. My therapy session is for an hour once a week and I spend about 15 minutes with her and the other 45 doing my own thing.

Enjoying a slice of pizza after therapy

Today while my therapist continued on and on I got on my horse and did my Evel Knievel toddler ride.  I fell off and my therapist said “Madison fell” which meant nothing to me because I promptly got back on. What she doesn’t know is that I’ve been doing this forever.

Lesson of the day: When you fall off your horse, get back on and ride.
