Fall brings around the best recipes like Pumpkin Caramel Apples and Apple Pie. Get in the kitchen and start creating a magical treat together while not worrying about the mess that unfolds. This is sure to be fun and bring on some laughter!
Go on a Hay Ride
Sure this could be a kid’s activity, but think beyond that. A magical hay ride together as a couple could ignite the romantic side. Look up hay rides that are more private than group settings and let the magic unfold as you hold hands sitting back on a hay ride together. The perfect Fall activity to do with your spouse on date night!
Have a Backyard Campfire
Nothing sparks the love connection like a little backyard campfire complete with blankets, stars above and some cuddling time. Head downtown and purchase some kindling, maybe some marshmallows and act like kids again as you sit around the campfire enjoying each other’s company. A backyard campfire is the perfect way to detach from adulthood and enjoy each other!

Forget the whole carving pumpkins with the kids, sit down with your spouse and create an elaborate pumpkin carving theme night. Find online templates for pumpkin carving themes and each of you work to carve the pumpkin into something that matters. Maybe you can do hearts or special I love you, or carve the pumpkin in memory of a special memory you two have together!
Go Get Lost
Head out on the road and enjoy some fall foliage and the sights one can see when fall arrives. Drop $20 in the gas tank. Head off and get lost together, see what you see and enjoy the conversations that happen when a couple heads out on a road trip with no destination in mind. Be sure to put away all cell phones to ensure the time is well spent together!
Stay in Bed All Day
Get a sitter for the kids, or if they are old enough have them tend for themselves. Take a day to just spend entwined under the sheets together. The colder fall days make the perfect weather for staying in bed together all day. It’s the perfect time to Netflix and chill. Bask in the glow of having no other obligations to tend to for a full day!
