These Are A Few of My Favorite Books

I promised that I would list of few of my favorite books. Mommy and I love, love, LOVE to read and I have a very extensive book collection. Mommy says that reading enhances the brain and will make me smarter than I already am. I definitely agree with her. After all moms are always right.

These are a few my favorite books in no particular order.

Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown This has been my favorite bedtime story from the day I was born. It has been a staple in our household and should be a staple in every nursery.

Are You a Cow? by Sandra Boynton Mommy always ask the questions and since I’ve heard it so many times before I can now so “no” when the questions are asked.

Moo Baa La La La by Sandra Boynton This always makes me giggle when mommy makes the sounds of the animals. I think my older brother is a cow.

You Are My Sunshine by Jimmie Davis I love hearing the song when mommy sings it to me. I’m trying to learn the words myself.

Guess How Much I Love You by Sam McBratney This book shows the love between parent and child. I love you to the moon and back is my favorite line because mommy always gives me a kiss when she says that.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle This is the story of a very greedy caterpillar but he turns into something very beautiful at the end.

Counting Kisses: A Kiss and Read Book by Karen Katz This is by far one of my favorite. Mommy always count out the kisses, even on my feet. That always makes me laugh.

Peek A Who by Nina Laden I usually pick this one out for mommy to read to me. The peek a you at the end is a delight because I get to see myself. Peek-a-boo is actually one of my favorite games to play.

Your Personal Penguin by Sandra Boynton A penguin doesn’t want to be with the other penguins, he wants to be a personal penguin.

On the Night You Were Born by Nancy Tillman This is such a charming story and one that I will always cherish.
