I just had to share this delightful book with you. No I haven’t lost any of my baby teeth as yet and still have quite a way to go before I even think of losing any. I am only 25 months old and I actually have another dental appointment next week. Yes I do take very good care of my teeth. Mommy says that the only people who look great without teeth are newborn babies. Since I am no longer a newborn baby I want to have my teeth for as long as I possibly can. My brothers though have already lost theirs and they said that when I lose it a tooth fairy will come and she will bring me money. I just have to remember to place it under my pillow when she does show up. When the Tale of the Tooth Fairyoffered so send me my very own book and plush highlighting the story of the Tooth Fairy I was elated. I couldn’t wait to receive it and share it with you my readers.
I received two copies of the Tale of the Tooth Fairy. They come in both a boy and girl version and when I opened my package I was pleasantly surprised. The packaging was oh so adorable!
Each storybook set comes complete with either a girl or boy fairy with pouch, a beautiful hardcover book and a keep sake box. The story tells the tale of how the real tooth fairy came to be. Written by Brian Ledig and beautifully illustrated by MaryKate Fleming the story and illustrations will draw you in.
The Tale of the Tooth Fairy tells of how one very special young fairy, who was trying to find her special place, brought to us the tradition that is today. She wasn’t interested in doing the things that the other fairies did. She wanted to be different. While traveling the world she noticed that the parents would take the tooth of their little ones to the forest and burry it. They believed that if they buried the tooth of their children they child would grow strong just like the tree grows strong from the earth.
Now she thought that it would be a great idea to take the teeth and leave something special for them instead. With permission from the high council she was able to fly into the homes because she was so tiny. She looked everywhere until she found the tooth under the pillow and left a gift for the sleeping child.
I am not going to spoil the story for you but if you want to, you can read the book for yourself on the website. Now one of the feature that I really loved about this was the Tooth Loss Recorder which is found on the very last page of the book. This is such a great way to record my tooth loss. Although I don’t intend to lose any very soon, it’s good to have a record of when I do. I can record which ones I lost and when I lost it, how old I was etc. The Tooth Fairy thought of everything!
The Tale of the Tooth Fairy makes a great gift and keepsake for the little ones in your life. While I don’t want to lose any of my teeth any time soon, I am now excited that when I do I’ll have a record of it. I also have my very own personal Tooth Fairy with pouch who can safeguard my tooth until the real Tooth Fairy arrives with my cold hard cash. The Tale of the Tooth Fairy gets my TWO TINY THUMBS UP!
If you have a little one in your life who believes in the Tooth Fairy like I do, then this is the book for you! You can purchase your very own storybook on the website. Here are the ways you can connect with The Tale of the Tooth Fairy!
I’m not done though. No, no, no! How about a chance to win your very own! Yes one of my reader will be given the chance to win their very own storybook set in their choice of fairy.
