Which international fashion icon can boast that her apparel is worn by the best-dressed (and cutest!) little girls in the world? Snoopy’s sister Belle, that’s who! While a lot of people know Snoopy, his sister Belle has also been a big part of his life, and now she’s having her very own still coming this fall to Macy’s. When contacted by Evy of California about their new Snoopy and his Sister Belle line, mommy and I were truly intrigued. After all I’ve worn quite a few clothing lines in my 2 year lifetime so I really wanted to give this one a try. Who wouldn’t? Evy of California is a premier junior’s and kid’s fashion design house which specializes in branded collections across all retail price points. The Snoopy and his Sister Belle line is catered to little girls sizes 2T – 6 and I was given the chance to try out two of the outfits below. I decided to go with the first two. It was pretty difficult trying to decide which ones I wanted to choose, but mommy decided to skip the white shirt. Toddlers and white don’t really go hand in hand she said.
Now before I go into my clothing I want to give you a bit of background behind Snoopy’s sister Belle. If you haven’t noticed, Belle looks just like her brother but a much cuter version with her longer eyelashes. She also wears either a lace collar or a pear necklace. She’s also known for making bows and usually has one in her hair. She first made her appearance in the comic strip on June 28, 1976. She also appeared briefly in the opening sequence of The Charlie Brown and Snoopy Show.
Now onto my clothing selection. I was able to review two of the three outfits that will be available in my size of 3T. The first outfit I’m modeling is the teal long sleeve graphic tee and the heart print leggings. While I wear size 3T in most clothing I would have to say that these run a bit big. I know parents like knowing about sizes when shopping for clothing. I’m usually able to fit my size 3T without any problems and these do fit but with a bit of room.
Both are made of cotton and they are soft to the touch. I was able to wash them and they held up in the wash as well. The shirt which is 100% cotton has Belle’s signature face with a purple glitter bow, and while mommy was worried that the glitter would be all over me it stayed on. The leggings is 95% cotton and 5% spandex. The colors are perfect for this time of year and I just loved all the hearts on the leggings. You will love it!
The clothing is perfect for play and I was able to jump around and run about all the while feeling comfortable.
Now my second outfit was the grey sweatshirt with the black and purple/sparkly french terry pants. The sweatshirt was by far my favorite of the shirts. Made of 80% cotton and 40% polyester, there really isn’t much stretch to it but just look at the design. The big heart on the front is sequined and looks really nice in the sunlight.
The sweatpants is made of 75% cotton, 20% polyester and 5% spandex. The sparkles really do give this sweatpants a true girly look and feel. The inside has a terry look and it is a truly comfortable pair of sweatpants. The legs are cuffed and on the leg you can see Belle with her purple signature bow which this line boasts. One that you can feel at home in just as much as going to the store or even the park.
Now if you notice below, this line is interchangeable. I was able to mix and match the top and bottom and it still looked great together. The colors are beautiful and who would have thought of mixing teal and purple together. I sure didn’t. I am really loving this line and can’t wait for it to hit the stores. I know that you’ll love it too. The Snoopy and His Sister Belle line gets my TWO TINY THUMBS UP!
Snoopy and His Sister Belle will be available for purchase this fall at Macy’s.
