Silly Rhino Subscription Box Review & Giveaway

Disclaimer: I received a subscription box from Silly Rhino for review purposes. No other compensation was received. Though the product was free, opinions are 100% my very own.

My writer has been out of commission for quite some time, and we have quite a lot to bring to you. February was not that great with us, and we have an update that we promise to share tomorrow. Today, though, is a whole new day, and I do want to share something special with you.

Since I am so behind on my reviews due to my mommy not feeling well, there will be lots of reviews in the month of March. This is one of the special ones that I wanted to share with you. I am going to start March off with a bang and include a giveaway as well. When approached by the owners of Silly Rhino to take a look at their brand new subscription box and offer my readers a giveaway, mommy said “yes.”. I love receiving subscription boxes.

I love receiving packages in the mail and having a pleasant surprise on the inside, just for me. Silly Rhino is a monthly subscription box service for kids ages 0–4 that is curated for your child’s age. Subscription costs $35.99/month, and to be honest, this is one of the more expensive boxes that we’ve done to date. Well, besides our clothing subscription boxes, that is. There are 3 options to subscribe to (monthly, 3-month, and 6-month subscriptions), and the price goes down to $33.99 with longer subscriptions.

When I received my box I couldn’t wait to open it and see what was on the inside. Silly Rhino doesn’t give you hints as to what you’ll get so it is totally a surprise. Don’t you just love surprises? I certainly do!

Once the box was opened I was amazed at the packaging. Yes it was surely awesome in a box! It was wrapped in blue tissue paper with a Rhino sticker. They surely did take care of the details. There was also a card listing what I was receiving in my box. I could ignore this and pretend that I didn’t see it and just be surprised, or I could spoil the surprise and read it beforehand. I decided to ignore it and be surprised. Now let’s get into what I got in my box!

Shoe Accessory by Shwings – $9

Your tot will be stylin’ in these super-fashionable wings attached to their shoes.

I have never seen these before. I have actually seen the pretty cute adidas with wings but these could go on all of my sneakers. I can’t wait to try these out and will be sure to share my photos when I do. These are super cool and I may have to get a few more for myself.

Stacking Puzzle by Manhattan Toy – $15

This animal puzzle is such a wonderful toy for children. After they are finished putting it together, it will be a modern and stylish addition to any child’s room decor. Should you collect more of these animal puzzles from Manhattan Toy, they are all interchangeable for one of a kind and unique creatures.

I’m a big fan of Manhattan Toys and I love puzzles. Whether they are stacking or not. This is going to be lots of fun for me.

Smooch your sweetie pie with softest lips possible. We are so happy to send you a bonus mommy item – this wonderful lip balm is made of organic ingredients and will naturally smooth, soothe and protect chapped lips – perfect for winter.

I just love when companies include something for mommy. Although this is great for mommy, since it is organic it is also great for me as well.

20-Piece Puzzle by Eeboo – $6

eeboo.com

Puzzles are an important educational learning tool for toddlers and young children as they challenge their thinking and exercise their minds. In this world of constant stimulation, quiet activities, such as making puzzles, are highly recommended for children. The beautiful artwork of this Eeboo puzzle is sure to capture attention and imagination of your child.

As I mentioned before, I love puzzles. This is actually my first 20 piece puzzle so I know that I will need help doing this one. I can’t wait to do it though, the picture sure looks lovely and I know that it will great when it’s all finished.

My Pet Toy and Book Set by Hape – $10

hapetoys.com

Hape believes that the future begins with and belongs to our children. So Hape toys are created to inspire play, learning, and exploration of the world we live in. We hope this cute little chunky toy and book set becomes your child’s favorite.

I am a big fan of books. Books that incorporate toys are a win in my book. I have a few other Hape toys and I know that they stand for quality so this I was excited to get as well.

Disposable Compressed Wipes by Green Sprouts – $3

greensprouts.com

Perfect for travel, these soft and absorbent disposable wipes expand when moistened. They are antibacterial and hypoallergenic, free of alcohol, harsh chemicals, chlorine, and perfumes

These are also new to me and mommy. There are 10 pieces in here and apparently they expand with a little bit of water. WOW! I can’t wait to give these a try.

The highlight of my box I would have to say are the puzzles and the book. I am a big fan of both so couldn’t wait to give them both a try. I have to say that Silly Rhino is another great subscription box service and one that I hope mommy subscribes to. Yes it is a bit more pricey than the others we currently subscribe to so that may be the deal breaker. The grand total of my box though was $46.50, much more than the subscription cost so totally worth it!

If you’re interested in getting your very own subscription you can use code silly10 to get 10% off your first monthly subscription.
