So I keep hearing 40 is the new 20 and I have to say that while I’m only a few months away from 40, I haven’t always felt that way. I get the “well you don’t look close to 40, you still look as though you’re in your early 30’s”. I’ve even gotten the “you sure you’re not in your 20’s?”. While I love hearing those compliments, I have to admit that I was still unhappy with the way I looked. For example take a look at my photo above. It was taken a few weeks ago after I had a makeover, and while I was happy with the way I looked, I certainly wasn’t happy with the lines under my eyes, and my laugh lines at the side of my eyes are always pronounced. However I admit it was a good look for me. You know that term “black don’t crack”, well that’s also not always true. I’ve seen quite a few African American women who look way older than they are, and while most would say, it’s all in the genes, trust me, you also need to take good care of your skin. I was one of those who thought that taking care of my skin didn’t matter when I was in my 20’s, so I was more than excited to take the RoC® RETINOL Resolution by using the RoC® RETINOL CORREXION® Deep Wrinkle Night Cream. You may remember my post I did a short while back saying I was taking the Roc Retinol Resolution. Well I took it and I have to say that I am extremely pleased with the results.
This is my after shot and of course Madison wanted to be in the photo. Notice that while I still have my laugh lines, the lines under my eyes have all but disappeared, and that’s WITHOUT makeup! I’ve also gained a few pounds more but I have been taking my resolution seriously. I have been using the RoC® RETINOL CORREXION® Deep Wrinkle Night Cream for a little over a month and I can say with certainty that I see results.
It actually took this quote from Board Certified New York Dermatologist Dr. Debra Jaliman to get me started on a night time facial routine.
“Overnight your skin works to repair itself, so it’s important to have a good bedtime facial routine. RoC® RETINOL CORREXION® Deep Wrinkle Night Cream is clinically proven and contains a mix of pure retinol and an essential mineral complex, which is designed to work through the night to help reduce the appearance of deep wrinkles.”
I truly never cared much about my skin but I’m getting older and I want to look as young as possible. I have a 3 year old so when she’s 20 I want to still look cool enough for her to want to hang out with. Who knows if I continue using my RoC® RETINOL CORREXION® Deep Wrinkle Night Cream I just might.
So what exactly is the RoC® RETINOL RESOLUTION that I’ve been taking? Well RoC® Skincare wants all women to look and feel their most beautiful in 2016 and wants you to get a head start now. All you have to do is use their clinically proven RoC® RETINOL CORREXION® Deep Wrinkle Night Cream to visibly smooth wrinkles in just 4 weeks. I was able to get mine at Walmart. You can also visit the RoC Retinol Resolution website and make your pledge and also enter into a one-of-a-kind sweepstakes through November 30th.
I found out that RETINOL is the #1 dermatologist-recommended cosmetic anti-aging ingredient and can improve the appearance of fine lines and deep wrinkles. It’s also a good idea to start using it in your 20’s and I wish someone had told me that before but it’s never too late. It’s an essential part of my now nightly skin care regimen and it helps with my collagen-depleted skin. RoC® RETINOL is up to 2x stronger than imitators based on vitro RETINOL activity in RoC® RETINOL CORREXION® Deep Wrinkle Night Cream.
So remember it’s never to late to start taking better care of your skin and you can do so by taking the RoC® RETINOL RESOLUTION and using RoC® RETINOL CORREXION® Deep Wrinkle Night Cream with anti-aging ingredients to help improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in as little as 4 weeks. I am going to keep on with my resolution because guess what? 40 is going to definitely be the new 20!
