When it comes to safety at home there is so much to choose from. Our parents put safety locks on all the doors, they make sure that our bath water is warm and not too hot or too cold, they stock up on medicine, buy top of the line thermometers and spend numerous amounts of money just to make sure that we are safe from harm. One product that mommy and I recommend for all new parents is a baby monitor. Not only does this product provide security to parents but can be used for years to come. Don’t think just babies, think seniors as well. They also need to be kept an eye on as well. Mommy and I have tried numerous monitors and today we bring one to you from Motorola. When Motorola contacted mommy about doing a review for one of their digital video monitor, it was a no-brainer that we would say yes. We are huge fans of the Motorola brand and it’s a company that mommy knows make quality products. How many of you have ever owned a motorola cell phone? Think about that when you read our review.
With spring here and everyone starting to enjoy the nicer weather and plan vacations, Motorola want to be sure that every parent has the peace of mind that their children are well monitored.

This gives you the capability to investigate and look around without having to physically be in the room with your baby. The MBP36 also comes standard with features that have been mentioned, such as infrared night vision, pre-recorded lullabies, and sound activated lights. This monitor has everything you could ever need at your fingertips!

Whether you’re looking for your first video monitor or a top-of-the-line video monitor with all of the bells and whistles, Motorola has a great monitor to offer. All Motorola monitors are protected against eavesdropping, so you can be sure that your video stream is from your eyes only.
I had the honor of receiving and reviewing the MPB36 and I was blown away. Not just with the features but with the ease it was to use.
Out of the box I was amazed at how big the screen actually was. We’re talking 3.5″ of screen that allows you to see almost everything that needs to be seen. The picture quality was amazing and the fact that this camera is expandable up to 5 cameras is a hit with mommy and me. That means that you don’t need to walk with the camera to a different room, you just need to buy an additional one or two or how ever many you need. Mommy forgot to take a picture of this using the night vision but I can tell you that it is awesome! We have reviewed other monitors before that didn’t totally disappoint in the night vision department but it didn’t wow us either. This one truly did. Motorola really did take their time in getting this right!
One of the feature that mommy and I loved was the fact that this not only told you the battery level but also tells you the temperature of the room. This is great for parents who worry about whether the room is too cold or hot for their little one. Don’t worry about the battery, it is fully rechargeable but you also get an AC power adapter for both the parental and camera unit. The battery life is also pretty good and has lasted almost 2 days with constant use.
The camera unit is by far one of the best that mommy has used. You can tilt, pan and zoom in on your little one while they sleep using the parental unit leaving all your fears at bay. The two way feature is really great as well and mommy has actually spoken to me while I was in the room and I was able to respond back with no outside interference from the numerous other electronics that is in my room. The sound is really clear and the 5 LED lights on the parental unit lets you know the noise level. Notice the 1 green light on the above photo? Yes it was pretty quiet that day.
Now the only thing that I wished Motorola included was the time on the parental unit. I know some of you parents would love to know what time it is when your little one wakes in the middle of the night. Maybe the next model may include that. Besides that this is one really great unit and it gets my TWO TINY THUMBS UP!
You can purchase Motorola Baby Monitors wherever baby products are sold such as Amazon, Target or BabiesRUs.
