Remember me saying that mommy and I have tried numerous items on our quest to conquer the mountain that is called potty training. When mommy was contacted by the makers of Lets Potty, she said “what do I have to lose?” and said yes. Mommy probably forgot that she had to ask me, Madison, if she was ready to do a review for another item that encourages me to use the potty. Maybe if mommy had asked me she may have found out that while I love playing games, I still have no interest in using the potty. Well my Let’s Potty Board Game arrived and it was time to get busy.
Here’s a bit about Let’s Potty before I go into my experience.
Let’s Potty is a fun, humorous and light-hearted way to begin the potty training conversation with your child. Regardless of the specific potty training method you use, Let’s Potty is the perfect tool start the process. Lets Potty Board Game
Since this is recommended for ages 2 years and up maybe mommy should have taken that into consideration as well. Let’s Potty is exactly what it says, a board game. I was 21 months old when I started with this game and I have a very short attention span. I cannot stay in one spot for too long. I also cannot process instructions too well. I love having my own way. Playing with my big brother and mommy was fun but only for about 5 minutes. This game takes a lot longer than 5 minutes I can tell you.
The Let’s Potty Board Game consists of the gameboard, game cards, and four characters. Two of them are girls and two boys. The object of the game was very simple. You just had to get to the potty on time. The game cards each had directions on them letting you know what spot to go to. There was even a card that told you to stay in your spot because you may have gone in your diaper. I played with mommy and my big brother Mikael and I think he cheated. He got to the potty first and did the happy dance. That really got me mad! There are no rules and you can play by your own rules and while he may have got to the potty first, everyone wins! The game doesn’t end until you all make it to the potty.
Now just because I wasn’t ready doesn’t mean that this doesn’t work. Mommy plan on using this again when I’m really ready. In the meantime I still play along with my big brother and mommy. Should I dare say that I am also getting the hang of the game as well. Before you know it I’ll be totally ready and it will all be with the help of Let’s Potty! The Potty Training Board game that brings the party to the potty! It definitely gets my Two Tiny Thumbs Up!
