Kushies Training Pants Review

Disclaimer: I was given the products in this post for the purpose of a review.

I was not paid in any way to write this review.

All opinions are my own.

So you see the logo and you’re saying to yourself, for everything baby? Does that mean that everything I want I should be able to find for my baby? I can say that you should be able to find ALMOST everything. Kushies offers one stop shopping for many great things baby and toddler and I fall into that toddler category. They even offer an organic clothing line.

Adorable Boy Prints

Well mommy and I were sent 2 of their training pants to review, after all I’m currently potty training and you my readers know that it hasn’t been going too well. Mommy thought that since the disposables kept me feeling dry that these would do a much better job. They had so many designs available it was tough at first choosing two that I loved but mommy took initiative and chose pink ones.

Kushies Training Pants are supposed to be a great alternative to my disposables. It is supposed to make me feel that wet sensation and would enable me to want to actually use the potty. The first step in choosing your training pants is finding your size. I currently weigh 24 pounds so we chose size Medium which fits 29lbs – 33lbs. They do go all the way to size XX-Large which fits up to 50lbs.

Super absorbent built in liner

The Kushies Training Pants features a 100% cotton flannel interior that is extra absorbent. I can attest to this. The waterproof cover also protects against leaks. Although these are recommended for overnight use only when your toddler is using the bathroom, mommy decided to try them out on me overnight. You know what happened? My bed was dry in the morning. That waterproof cover really works! Granted I didn’t go as much as I usually do but mommy totally expected my bed to be wet when I got up and it wasn’t.

They also fit very comfortable as well. As long as you get your correct size you won’t go wrong. They are snug around my legs and the only thing I can say that I didn’t particularly like too well was that it did look rather bulky. I took a picture so you can see the fit on me.

So you’re probably wondering, did they make a difference in my potty training? I am not sure if they did but since I started using them I can now say that I have been sitting on the potty a little bit more now. I do not like feeling the coolness of a wet underwear on my bum so maybe it did work.

As you all know not every product get my Two Tiny Thumbs Up. Just because I got it for free doesn’t mean that it will automatically get it but I give my Kushies Training Pants my Two Tiny Thumbs Up!

Don’t I look cute in my Kushies Training Pants?

Taken from Kushies website:

Our training pants are intended to aid in toilet training when a child is ready to take that step, as they are meant to contain ‘accidents’ while the child is trying to get to the potty.  They would be suitable for overnight use only if the child is waking up at night to use the bathroom.
