Today I’m going to be reviewing the KidKraft Uptown Espresso Kitchen.
There is a warning on the box that says small parts, not for children under 3 but the only small parts are the ones you need to fit the kitchen together. Once the kitchen is set up there are no small parts for your little one to play with or your little one can choke on. I’m 15 months old now and I can assure you that it is very safe.
The only negative thing I can really say about this kitchen is that it does take quite a long time to put together. It does come in a very small deceiving box but once the box is opened there are a lot of parts. It took my dad over three hours to put it together.
There are no small parts for you to worry about. |
The Uptown Espresso Kitchen is very hip and modern and I would sure love to have a kitchen quite like it when I grow up. It comes with all steel appliances. Refrigerator, freezer, oven, dishwasher and microwave. It also comes with a cordless phone and a chalkboard that I can write on when I’m a little older to write.
The Kitchen is made of wood and is of very good quality and extremely sturdy. It will last for a very long time. Mommy first thought about getting a plastic kitchen that worked with batteries and made sounds but decided against it. She said that I have too many electronic toys and needed to use my imagination. I wanted to disagree with her but I’m only a toddler. ☺
Kitchen is very sturdy I can assure you. I had to climb to get my cans of soups. |
I do love twisting the knobs on the stove. They make a clicking sound and I love hearing it. I can also turn the faucet on and off and pretend to wash my fruits in the sink. Mommy decided to put a half roll of paper towel on the holder but I decided it was much more fun taking the paper towel and playing with it. Now I only have an empty roll. ☺
Do I recommend this kitchen for your little one. I actually do! Not only is it gender neutral but it is made of wood and will last a very long time and your little one will enjoy it as well.
