June 2013 Stork Stack Subscription Box Review

As you know mommy and I have just started doing the subscription boxes. We signed up for Citrus Lane, Bluum and Stork Stack and we just received our Stork Stack Box. Stork Stack is a monthly subscription box service that caters to babies from the third trimester to toddlers up to age 3. Stork Stack came delivered not by a stork as the box portrays but by our trusty USPS delivery guy. Mommy said he’s even better than the stork. ☺

The theme for this month was Picnic Party and the card read:

Happy Summer! June is the month that hosts the first day of summer, and various special occasions inspire BBQs, picnics, and outdoor activities. With the anticipation of this outdoor fun, our June Stack is a “Picnic Party!”. We have selected some of our favorite snacks (for both moms and little ones), as well as great picnic accessories included to inspire fun, independence and good health. After all, an outdoor picnic or BBQ is not complete without great food, fun activities, and proper gear!

On the back of the card were the name of the products, the website and the price that they retail for and also a bit of information about the products. Since this was included I’m going to be using that as a template for this review.

Tree Hopper Toys: Animal Jalopies/ $15.99

www.treehoppertoys.com

Tree Hopper Toys is a family-owned toy maker on the outskirts of Chicago. Using sustainable American hardwoods, we handcraft our line of distinctive toys that curious kids love. We design products to enhance and work alongside a child’s endless creativity and imagination. For that reason, all of our toys are interactive, safe, natural and fun!

I love that they were made of wood and that were natural. I still taste test everything that is given to me so the fact that there was no paint on this is a huge hit with me and it wasn’t made in China.

Susan Brown’s Baby: Moisturizing Cleansing Cloths/ $13.99

www.susanbrownsbaby.com

Susan Brown’s Baby Moisturizing Cleansing Cloths are designed to give you the ultimate in gentle cleansing. Because they are enriched with First Skin Emollient Complex, a dermatologist tested array of rich botanical moisturizers including shea, moringa, cocoa, and jojoba butters. You can use our wipes knowing that you have the finest cleansing cloths available. OIL FREE, CHLORINE FREE, DERMATOLOGIST TESTED. HYPOALLERGENIC.

I have been using Pampers Sensitive Wipes since the day I was born and I’ve had no issues with it. These seem to be nice wipes but mommy said she will not spend that much money on wipes. After all its about time for me to start potty training.

Sassy Baby: 9oz. Grow Up Cup/ $7.00

www.sassybaby.com

Products with Purpose. Our products embrace proven development theories and are designed to help develop through the senses (hearing, touch, sight, smell and taste). We, as parents, ourselves, are proud of our 25 years of growth and development, providing the highest quality toys and continuing to stay ahead of hot-button issues, like using safe plastics and no paint, to bring our consumers a brand and product that is trusted, durable, safe and-most-of-all-with purpose.

I was excited to get a new cup. Remember my review on the Avent cup?  Well we were still looking for a cup that I liked so this is going to be an experience I’m sure especially since we’ve never used the Sassy brand before. I’ll be sure to review this one as well.

Barbara’s: Snackimals Cookies/ $0.99

www.barbaras.com

Snackimals are made with organic grain and the highest quality ingredients. Both Snackimals Cookies and the Snackimals Cereals have all the nostalgia of classic animal cookie shapes, and like the rest of the Barbara’s family, are made with simple, wholesome ingredients and do not contain hydrogenated oil, high fructose corn syrup or refined white sugar. Additionally, not only will parents feel great about what’s in the box, but Barbara’s Snackimals Cereals are packaged using GreenChoice 100% recycled cartons that are made with 100% clean energy, are 100% carbon neutral, and use environmentally friendly inks.

I loved this and this was actually the very first item I grabbed from the box. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on these. They were super yummy. Mommy promised that when we next go grocery shopping she is definitely going to pick me up some of these if she can find them.

GimMe Health Foods: Roasted Seaweed Sheets – Mom Treat!/ $1.19

www.gimmehealth.com

Our daughter came up with the name GimMe because “gim” means seaweed in Korean and because everyone says “gimme more!” when they taste our crispy, organic roasted seaweed. One of our founders, Annie, was born and raised in Korea — home to the best seaweed on the planet. Annie’s husband, Steve, grew up in Northern California, where he learned early how much better food tasted when it’s fresh and natural. Annie and Steve founded GimMe to share their love of seaweed with you and your family.

GimMe’s seaweed is grown in an agriculturally protected region of the Yellow Sea, off the coast of South Korea. The special environment where this seaweed grows allows GimmMe Roasted Seaweed Snacks to be the first (and only!) seaweed products on the planet to be certified organic and verified non GMO.

Since these were a mommy snack mommy tasted this and said “yuck”. I’m guessing that she didn’t like it because she said that she wasn’t going to eat them and was going to give them to my sister who is a vegan.

We loved our Stork Stack box and mommy said she is going to continue my subscription. Yay me! I can’t wait to receive my July box.

The subscription is $27.99/month but if you want to get your own Stork Stack box you can use this link to get $10 off your first box. If the link doesn’t work you can use the following discount code A241300F.
