Disclosure:I received a free pair of leggings from MillieMoo for our Fashion Friday. No other compensation was received. Though the product was free, opinions are 100% my very own!
I love fashion as most of you know. When I first started Growing Up Madison I would always describe what I was wearing in a post. Lately that hasn’t been happening. Introducing Fashion Friday to Growing Up Madison is my way to bring new companies and old ones as well to the forefront. I remember when I was younger I very rarely wore the same outfit twice. Mommy is a shopaholic and my closet is always full of clothing. Some I never even get to wear. Now you may have noticed that I named this post “Instagram Shopping”. Is there such a thing you ask? You’ll be surprised at the number of companies doing business on Instragram. Instagram is now the go to spot for all your fashion needs and the company I’m introducing you too is simply amazing at what they do. Welcome MillieMoo!
Now I have to tell you that I was introduced to MillieMoo by my good friend Ofure and her daughter Olivia on their blogOfure.com. Olivia looked so cute in herMillieMoo Leggingsthat I knew I just wanted to highlight them on Growing Up Madison. Mommy contacted them and they were just as excited as I was. Before I go into what I received I want to share a bit about the creators behind Millie Moo, Sharon and Jana.
Jana grew up in California. She was a singer for the band The Arrogants and enjoyed sporting new hair styles and colors thanks to her job at a salon. She prefers regular coke. She also loves to read. She and her husband live in Seattle with their four children and two dogs.
Sharon grew up in Utah spending her free time swimming, long boarding, snowboarding, and doing just about any other kind of outdoor activity you can think of. She’s had a lifelong love affair with diet coke and is also a vegetarian. She currently lives in Seattle with her husband, daughter, two dogs, and cat.
Jana and Sharon started MillieMoo after seeing cute children’s leggings being sold for outrageous prices. They knew they could make leggings of a higher quality for half the price. After a few trips to the fabric store, they combined Jana’s sewing expertise and Sharon’s busines acumen and brought MillieMoo to Instagram. Thanks to loyal customers and referrals it continues to grow and they are excited to see what 2014 brings.
Now this is the way MillieMoo works. You are shown these adorable fabric and all you have to do is like the one you want and comment that you’re interested along with your size and email address. An invoice will be sent your way and once payment is received you will be kept up to date with the status of your order. A few days later your item shows up wrapped in tissue paper with a MM sticker. It was sooo easy I had no idea that it would have been so easy. If you’re wondering about pricing and sizing, don’t worry mommy and I have that right here for you. Considering that they’re are custom made, mommy and I think that they are pretty affordable.
Mommy and I decided on the Lady Bird design and once I got them I was wowed! I had originally seen the print but once transformed into leggings there was no way that mommy was going to get them off me. Mommy’s pictures do not begin to do these any justice at all. They are very comfortable and they are also tagless making them perfect for those with sensitive skin. The quality is amazing although we have yet to wash them so we are not sure how they would hold up in the wash. Since they are made of cotton I am sure they will do great. MillieMoo is available for both boys and girls!
Mommy and I plan on ordering a few more pairs of MillieMoo leggings because a toddler can never have too many and I have to say that Millie Moo definitely gets my TWO TINY THUMBS UP!
Head on over to MillieMoo and tell them that Growing Up Madison sent you!
