How young is too young to start your fashion career? I say the day you’re born! There’s a new company that wants to make that all possible for you. Introducing Infanteenie Beenie! Now where where they when I was born? Mommy wish she had known about them then because I would have started my fashion career from day one. Every hospital has those generic baby hats that you see in the nursery. Won’t it be fun to have your own little unique hat? One that is monogrammed or even one that is just so girly or boy like that you can distinguish your baby from the others? When Missy the owner of Infanteenie Beenie contacted mommy about showcasing her hats mommy was intrigued. She not only loved the idea but truly wished it was around when I was born. You’ll see why.

Check out this newborn photo of me taken just 10 hours after my birth. Yes that’s me in the generic hospital striped pink and blue hat. I wasn’t a pretty baby but I could surely have looked better with an Infanteenie Beenie. Don’t you think so too? There was no way to tell if I was a boy or a girl with my puffy red face. Now if I had one of these hats I would have been easily recognizable in the nursery.

Infanteenie Beenies are the only beenies GUARANTEED to fit and stay snug on all newborns. Whether you have been blessed with a bouncing baby boy or a sweet little girl, your baby will have the best quality hat during their hospital visit.

I received two Infanteenie Beenies for review purposes and I have to say that I truly wished these were around when I was born. The company wasn’t started until April 2012, almost 3 months after my birth. The inspiration behind the making of these beautiful hats was the birth of the owner’s daughter. After her newborn daughter was born, the nurse placed the generic blue and pink striped beenie on her head, the same way they do for every baby born at every hospital. She quickly took it off and replaced it with not one but three of her own but noticed that they wouldn’t stay on her head. She had to end up using the hospital’s hat and took photos with that hat.

With a name like Adair, it was difficult to tell if her baby was a boy or girl from the photos. With that problem she set out to make a hat that would solve the problem of distinguishing the genders. She created a high end product that parents would be proud to showcase on their new bundles of joy, while enhancing those first newborn photos. Mommy can surely relate because we had those same hats that didn’t stay on and I had to wear that hospital hat too!

Now if the hats don’t woo you the packaging would. They come neatly packaged in a burlap bag with drawstring closure. On the inside would be the hat of your choice. The hats are all handmade from newborn hospital hat material thus allowing you to keep the hospital traditional newborn nursery look. The only difference is that they are a lot more fashionable and you’ll be the hit of the nursery.

I tried it out on my doll and my doll was taken from being a baldheaded baby to being a stylish doll. I have a very big head so this would not fit me. Infanteenie beenies are perfect for photo taking and you’ll be sure to get lots of compliments on these very adorable beenies. They make the perfect gift for the new mom and baby showers as well. Everyone will want to know where you got them because you are going to be different! Do I recommend them? I sure do! They get my TWO TINY THUMBS UP!
