As a mother, I’m always complaining that there aren’t enough hours in the day to do the things I love. Today in collaboration with Roborock and their second generation robot vacuum Roborock S5, I share how that is now possible.

When you have a family, their happiness comes firstmost, sometimes even before your own. As a wife, one of my responsibilities is keeping my home clean, but it’s not my only responsibility. I have to take the kids to school, pick them up from school, cook dinner, take them to their various sporting activities, and so much more. Can I be honest here and say that I hate cleaning? Well, I used to until lately.
Introducing the Roborock S5 Robot Vacuum Cleaner, a next-generation vacuum.
Not only does the Roborock S5 vacuum my home, but it mops as well. Before I would have to pull out my vacuum cleaner, go around my home vacuuming up all the pet hair (did I mention that I’m also a pet parent?), including dirt and dust that my kids and pets bring inside. Since my home has various types of floor, from hardwood and carpet to tile, a broom and dustpan would also be needed.
The Roborock S5 is great for all types of floors and can handle it all, and it mops floors quite easily as well. I don’t have to worry about having a mop and that bucket of water. Who else hates wringing their mops out?
When it’s done it automatically goes back to its dock where it recharges itself. With a long battery life of 5200 mAh, it gives me approximately2.5hrs of cleaning time on a single charge.
So what can I do while my Roborock S5 is doing almost all of my housecleaning? I say ‘almost all’ because it’s not yet able to do the dishes or the laundry yet.
Here are 5 things I can do while my Roborock S5 does the work for me.
Read a book
I’m an avid book reader and have reading lists. I started a spring and summer reading list and have quite a few more books that I would love to read. However, I never could find the time to read because of all the household chores I would have to do. Now that I can eliminate vacuuming, and mopping thanks to the Roborock S5, I can now read a lot more.
Take a walk
There’s nothing like enjoying the great outdoors, and to be honest I really need all the exercise I can get. You may not know this, but I do have a few health problems and it seems as though they’ve been exacerbated due to my lack of energy lately. With the time I save having the Roborock S5 do a few of my household chores for me, I can take a quick walk around the neighborhood and essentially smell the roses.
Take a relaxing bath
Who doesn’t like to relax? Finding the time to relax is something that I enjoy, and something that we should all take time out of our day to do. With the time saved, I can run a relaxing hot bubble bath and just enjoy the warmth and relaxation. Add a bit of jazz music, a glass of wine and/or a book and bathtime can be your thing.
Take up a hobby
I’ve always wanted to learn how to knit or crochet but never could find the time to do so. Guess what? Now I can! With all your free time that the Roborock S5 gives to you, you now have the time to take up that hobby that you’ve been wanting to do. Maybe birdwatching, or even pottering around your garden.
Spruce up my cooking skills
While I’m not a celebrated chef, cooking has always been something that I enjoyed. My parents taught me to cook at the tender age of 10 and I clearly remember cooking for the first time for the entire family. While it was a total bust, the next time turned out exceedingly well. Since then I’ve honed my skills and have gotten way better. Lately, I’ve been going back to my Caribbean roots by incorporating more Caribbean meals into my menu plan, and it’s been a hit with everyone.

Set up is a breeze and you can use your vacuum either with your mobile app or directly from the device itself. It has:
