Getting Ready for the Holidays with Invisalign® Treatment ~ #Invisalign #InvisalignSmile

The holidays are fast approaching, and we couldn’t be more excited. While we won’t be celebrating Christmas in the USA this year, it doesn’t mean that we’re not already preparing at home. Learn how you can get ready for the holidays before it’s too late.

This post was sponsored by the Invisalign® brand, and all opinions expressed in my post are my own.

We’ve already started on our holiday decor, and I also got the kids involved, including Mikael, who previously disliked setting up for the holidays. Mikael, as many of you may remember, started his Invisalign® treatment this past summer, and already, we can see such a huge difference, not just in his demeanor but his overall self-confidence. Mikael was that child who would come home, sit in his room, get on his computer, or play video games all day long. Being outdoors was not something you would see. However, not only has he signed up for his high school basketball team, but he’s been more active with other members of the household, including his little sister Madison who looks up to her big brother.

Invisalign® treatment truly is the most advanced clear aligner system in the world, and it works! We’re not done yet, but just look at how much Mikael’s overbite has improved after only 4 months. For over 20 years, they’ve been transforming millions of smiles from simple to complex cases, as in Mikael’s case. Mikael’s treatment also includes the Invisalign clear aligners with mandibular advancement feature and are made from SmartTrack® material, which helps to push his jaw forward while straightening his teeth simultaneously without the need for bulky appliances. SmartTrack material helps provide a better fit and greater comfort compared to 0.30in off-the-shelf aligners. They’re confidence boosters and helps you to look your best while wearing.

Invisalign treatment is helping to correct his overbite.

Here are five easy ways that you can get ready for the holidays with minimal effort.

1. PLAN AHEAD

I’m a last-minute person, a procrastinator as some like to call it, but the one thing I’ve realized is that during the holidays, it doesn’t pay to do everything at the last minute. Otherwise, I’d be scrambling around trying to find the perfect gift, and popular items tend to sell out before the big day. Make a list of all the things that need to be done and get started on them early, so you’re not rushing around at the last minute.

2. SET A BUDGET AND SHOP AHEAD

With that being said, it’s always a good idea to shop ahead as well, but be sure to set a budget. As mentioned before, the more popular items are usually sold out at the last minute. No need to run to the stores during Black Friday and get into a fight over that blender that you wanted to give your mother-in-law, most stores offer online shopping, so stay indoors and shop in the comfort of your pajamas. And your mother-in-law also wouldn’t want you going into debt buying gifts that you really can’t afford, so a budget is essential.

3. STOCK UP ON GIFT SUPPLIES

That means wrapping paper, tape, cards, etc., everything that you’ll need to wrap the perfect present. Just like birthdays, the holidays usually mean gifting. Whether if that’s a gift for your significant other, kids, or parents, we all want to show how much we care and appreciate our loved ones during the holidays. Don’t wait until the very last minute to run out to get gifting supplies, get your wrapping paper early so that you’ll have the best selection, because we all love the best.

4. DECLUTTER

The holidays generally mean that there will be new items purchased, meaning that you will need to make space for said items. Consider getting rid of the kids’ clothing/toys that they no longer need, whether you donate to a charity, sell or give to someone else in need. Clean out your refrigerator to make space for the delicious meals that you’ll be preparing, clean out the closets so that you’ll have somewhere to store the gifts that you’re going to need hiding, etc. Decluttering will not only make you feel better about your home but will also give you peace of mind.

5. MAKE SELF-CARE A PRIORITY

The holidays can make you feel like you’re going insane. The millions of shoppers in the stores trying to also find that perfect gift for their loved one, not knowing if you purchased the right item, wondering how you’re going to do it all when the big day arrives. However, take the time to decompress and practice self-care. Take some time out for yourself, whether that’s soaking in the tub, relaxing in bed with a good book or sipping a glass of wine.

Did you know that Invisalign treatment is also a form of self-care? Taking care of your health and body is the best form of self-care there is, and if your smile has been holding your teen back because they haven’t been happy with the way their smile looks, now is the best time to consider Invisalign treatment.

I know most teens wish that they had a brighter, more beautiful smile, but hate the look of traditional braces. With Invisalign clear aligners, others won’t even know that your teen is wearing them unless he/she tells them, of course. Could you say that Mikael was wearing his aligners in every single photo except for his before shot? Yeah, me neither. His treatment is going exceptionally well and we couldn’t be happier.

So if you’ve also been considering Invisalign clear aligners for your child or even for yourself, take the free smile assessment, or locate a doctor near you that specializes in Invisalign treatment.
