We have been having lots of rain in Colorado the past couple of weeks and while it was well needed because it was indeed very hot, it also gave me a chance to try out these awesomely amazing boots sent to me by Aigle Boots. Aigle (pronounced ‘Eh-gleu’), ‘Eagle’, is the number 1 manufacturer of high quality hunting and horseback riding boots. Aigle were first manufactured for farmers as a way to keep their feet dry and mud free while in the fields. Now they have become a fashion statement and anyone would be proud to be seen in one of these boots. Just look at the collection! A great majority of their boots are still handcrafted in France and very high quality. oohlala! Having been in business since 1853 this is a company who knows exactly what they’re doing when it comes to making high quality boots.
I even have a surprise for you because they sent mommy a pair as well, so she can tell you all about it, for those mommies or even daddies who are interested in trying a pair for themselves. These are not my first pair of boots but I have to say that they are my most comfortable pair, and I’m not just saying that because they were sent to me either. I have another pair that mommy paid way more money for and they are definitely not as comfortable as this one. Now let mommy tell you about her fashionable boots.
I love boots and by boots I mean the fashionable type. I have actually never owned a pair of rain or rubber boots but I do have an extensive Uggs collection. As a New Yorker they are essential to your wardrobe. I was a bit skeptical at first when offered to give the Aigle Skey a try. I normally don’t do reviews for adults on the site but was given the option to do a mommy and me post.
I have to say that the Aigle Skey totally surprised me. They were amazingly comfortable. I was thinking of hard rubber that would wear on your feet and maybe give a corn or two after a few hours of wear. Not so at all. I decided to wear these while grocery shopping with Madison and they were just as comfortable as me wearing my sneakers to the store. The rubber is amazingly soft and it is well cushioned on the inside.
Madison here again. Now that mommy have told you all about her boots I have to say that my baby version isn’t any different. For me mommy chose the Baby Flac in classic yellow. The Baby Flac is currently available in Red, Blue and Yellow. When you think rain boots the one stand out color you automatically think of is yellow. While there are other colors, yellow was my favorite. The Baby Flac is made with high-quality natural varnished (shiny) rubber as is most of their boots. It has a jersey cotton lining that keeps your little one feet warm and cozy and it also have a removable and washable insole. For kids that is plus. Our little feet do tend to sweat and no one likes to have stinky feet so having an insole that you can wash is awesome.
It is super comfortable and flexible and has a textured rubber outsole that is anti-slip. Another plus for toddlers who aren’t too stable sometimes on their feet.
The natural rubber used in the construction of these boots possesses a molecular structure that makes it particularly durable and tear resistant. Keep your little one and even yourself warm, dry and toasty in Aigle Boots. You better believe that Aigle Boots gets me and my mommy THUMBS UP!
