When mommy and I first saw the Go! Go! Sports Girls mommy just knew that she had to have them in our holiday gift guide. After all mommy and believe in the power of exercise. I may be a toddler but it’s not all indoor play for me. No, no, no. I have to have my at least hourly quota of outdoor play as well. With obesity amongst kids on the rise the best thing you can do for your child is to have them do some sort of exercise on a daily basis. A quick walk around the neighborhood counts as exercise as well. Sitting in front of the TV does not count as exercise and neither does playing video games. My brothers would disagree with me but mommy knows best.
Dream Big Toy Company created Go! Go! Sports Girls as a fun and educational way to promote self-appreciation and the benefits of daily exercise, healthy eating and sleeping habits, self-esteem and overall healthy life-skills among youths 3-12 years, regardless of race and socioeconomic class.
Go! Go! Sports Girls are age and size appropriate. They do not encourage an older or overly mature image. The image is innocent with a subtle yet strong message appreciate and be true to yourself! They are made from high quality cloth which is safe and durable. They are soft, comfortable and light to carry, easy for a child to take with her to play or sleep.
$19.99 – Recommended age: 3-12y
Now the great thing about the Go! Go! Sports Girls is that there is almost every sport represented. Whatever your little girl wants to be you can probably find. There is soccer, gymnastics, softball and basketball just to name a few. When offered my choice I decided to go with M.C. who loves to dance. I love dancing and there isn’t a beat that I can’t and won’t dance to.
Each doll comes with their accessory that’s needed for their particular sport. M.C. came with her backpack and her dance clothes all ready to dance. There is a little card that came attached to her arm that tells all about what she loves to do. She loves to eat healthy snacks like strawberries like me and when she isn’t dancing, she’s playing the piano and practicing her cheerleading moves.
As if that wasn’t enough there was even a secret message on her tummy encouraging me to move and groove and Dream Big! You’re never too young to dream big and you’re never too young to move and groove either. I know that Go! Go! Sports Girls are recommended for ages 3-12 but I would say that they can be used younger than that as well. It’s always a good idea to introduce the love of sport and exercise at an early age. That way your little ones will love it sooner than later.
Go! Go! Sports Girls not only help empower girls in their dreams but they also give back as well. A portion of your purchase goes to organizations that encourage girls to participate in physical activity and develop a healthy lifestyle. Organizations such as Girls Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring all girls to be strong, smart and bold. They also contribute to the Jack H. Marston II Melanoma Fund. How’s that for an amazing company!
Mommy and I believe that every little girl should have a Go! Go! Sports Girl. Encourage self esteem, confidence and healthy eating with Go! Go! Sports Girls! I think you would love them almost as much as I do. Go! Go! Sports Girls gets my Two Tiny Thumbs Up!
