Easter Bunny Hot Caramel Chocolate Drink

Easter is almost here and the weather is still cool enough for you to enjoy our Easter Bunny Hot Caramel Chocolate drink.

Easter Bunny Hot Caramel Chocolate Drink

This Easter is going to be an Easter like no other. 2020 has come and gone, but 2021 isn’t that much better if you ask me. There will be no Easter egg-hunts and no Easter Bunny photos as we’re still social distancing. While you can still find Easter decor in stores, the pickings I felt were slim this year. However, now with my Cricut Mug Press, I can actually make my own mugs with no problems.

I’m a sucker for mugs, and I have them for every season, every holiday, and just because. Opening up my favorite mug cupboard had me staring at a few of my Easter mugs and I just couldn’t resist whipping up a batch of my favorite hot chocolate with a twist. You may remember my Scary Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate Drink which was a hit with Madison, and myself. This one I think is so much better.

I haven’t really done much decorating for Easter and instead, I’m just fast-forwarding to spring as I’m ready for warmer weather. Here in Colorado, if you’re not happy with the weather, just wait a couple of minutes and it’ll change for you. We’ve experienced 70-degree weather followed by bouts of snow, it’s as if the universe is telling us that we need to experience winter just a tad bit longer. With cooler weather comes hot chocolate and this Easter Bunny Hot Caramel Chocolate drink is absolutely delicious.

This is made very similar to my scary pumpkin drink with the exception that we were able to incorporate our favorite Easter candy “PEEPS®” into the drink and combined it with “easter sprinkles”. If you made some of my marbled easter bunny bark, you might even be able to use that instead. And since I’m a big caramel lover, I just had to incorporate some caramel into this using Torani’s classic caramel syrup. This I’m sure will be a hit with your family as well and you’re going to be making it quite often, and even with added twists.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Ingredients Needed

4 cups of organic whole milk (grassfed tastes best)

½ cup white chocolate chips

4 tbsp Torani Classic Caramel Syrup

Pink food coloring (I have a preference for gel)

Whipped cream

Peeps and Easter Sprinkles or Sugar Crystals for topping

Supplies Needed

Small pan or pot

Favorite mug

Directions

Step 1. Combine the white chocolate chips and milk in a pot over medium heat and stir until the chocolate chips are completely melted.

Step 2. Add a few drops of pink food coloring to your chocolate mixture until it turns into the perfect pink color that you desire.

Step 3. Add your caramel into the mixture and taste.

Step 4: Pour into your favorite mug and top with whipped cream, PEEPS®, and sprinkles. (I used pink sugar crystals). Remember your drink will be hot so your whipped cream will melt rather quickly.

Step 5. Drink and enjoy!

Didn’t I tell you that it was super simple to make, but it’s oh so delicious! This Easter Bunny Hot Chocolate Caramel Drink will be a hit with the kids this Easter morning. For a fun twist, you can change the color of the milk to whatever color peeps you decide to use. I actually prefer the PEEPS® bunnies over the chicks, but think of all the fun color combinations you can do. Yellow, Pink, Purple, and even Blue.
