Cool Gear inc. Snack Time |
One day while shopping at that store that a certain celebrity thought sold walls mommy saw these really cool cans and took note of who made them. At the time she wasn’t thinking hey I need one of those instead she said “I wonder what they have for Madison?”. Yeah mommy is always thinking about me. So she came home and went online and voila they had some stuff for me too. Mommy contacted Cool Gear and next thing you know I had these really cool stuff arrive in the mail addressed to Growing Up Madison. Yeah all my packages are addressed that way. I know it belongs to me when it does.
Well Cool Gear also sent mommy some photos of the items that they sent to me but you my readers know that although we may use their photos we like to put up our own because yeah you don’t want to read about it, you want to see it and you want to see me using it. Hey I can’t review it if I don’t use it right? Maybe now would be a good time to mention that Cool Gear products are all BPA free!
Well the first thing I noticed when I opened up my box was this really cool Snack Time container. Know what made it cool? It was a 2-in-1 product and you all know how I love those 2-in-1 products! Not only does this hold my drink but it also holds my snack as well. Know what’s even cooler about this? It has a non-toxic gel on the inside of the cup that keeps your drinks cold. You simply put your cup in the freezer or refrigerator wherever you want and put your drink in once you think it’s cold enough. No more need for ice and it stays cold for quite a while. Wanna know how I know about that too? I took it on my hour long drive shopping trip 2 weeks ago and 3hrs later when I needed it, it was still cold. If your little one doesn’t know how to drink from a straw there might be a problem because these come in a flip-top style so knowing how to drink from a straw is a necessity. There is a straw on the inside and it is completely removable making it easy to wash and keep sanitized. We don’t want any yucky stuff in our drink.
The bottom of the container holds my snacks and mommy puts home made popcorn or cereal or whatever catches my fancy at the time in there and it keeps it fresh. I can use this either separately or together. My cup never spills and all it takes is a simple twist and its separated. They are perfect for little hands like mine. I still need help untwisting it but that’s what mommy is there for. I recommend that these stay in your diaper bag. You never want to be that mommy who runs out of snacks and juice or water. As you can see from the photos as well they come in a variety of colors so you’ll find one that you and your little one love.
The next thing I pulled out of my box was a double pack of bottles called the Teardrop. Not sure why it’s called that but they were really cute. Of course I got the pink and purple pack because I’m a girlie girl but I would have been fine with the blue and green as well since I’m also a tomboy. Mommy just forces me to wear these skirts and dresses. I can’t wait for winter when I can get back into my jeans.
These were made of squeezable LDPE material. OK you’re probably wondering, “what is Madison talking about?”. What is LDPE? Well mommy didn’t know what it was either so she did what she does best. Thank you google! We found out that LDPE stands for Low Density Polyethylene and that it could withstand temperatures of 80 °C continuously and 95 °C for a short time. They are made in translucent or opaque variations, is quite flexible and tough but breakable.

These came in 10.5 oz size bottles and you know that’s perfect for us little ones. I’m not sure how much you can drink but 10 oz is a lot for me. They also came with a non toxic gel filled freezer stick. You’re also probably wondering that was and that’s where mommy’s pictures come in handy again because Cool Gear didn’t send us a picture of that. It’s this really cool stick that goes in the middle of your drink but before you do that you can stick it in the freezer and once you take it out it totally keeps your drinks cold. You then put the freezer stick into the cap and there you have it! That’s all you need to do. Really easy!

This is also perfect sized for me and I have to say it is also spill proof once the cap is closed. Once you pull on the pull top sipper cap then of course its not going to be. This little Teardrop is perfect for little hands like mine and is also top shelf dishwasher safe but can be washed by hand. Mommy uses a bottle brush. I love my Teardrop because now I have no need for ice and I’m a big ice lover and whenever I need a cool drink it’s always available. I love the colors and the fact that they’re soft and squeezable as well. That makes it easy for me to get my drink out.
