Cheesy Crockpot Hashbrowns

Breakfast which is considered the most important meal of the day can also be the most boring meal of the day. Breakfast can truly be super boring at times in our household. We get tired of eating the same old boring foods so sometimes we like to mix up and make it different, instead of the boring eggs and bacon and even more boring hashbrowns, we decided to make our cheesy hashbrowns all in our convenient crockpot. If you’re looking for something different for breakfast then look no further than our Cheesy Crockpot Hasbrowns. This however isn’t quick but it is super easy and you won’t regret making it. Not only is it super delicious but I just know that you’ll want to make it over and over again.

Here is what you’ll need:

*Makes approximately 6 servings.

Ingredients:

1 10 ¾ oz. can of cream of chicken soup

1 C. sour cream

1 tbs. minced onion or ½ of a small onion, diced

¼ C. butter, melted

½ tsp. salt

½ tsp. pepper

1 32 oz. bag of frozen O’Brien hashbrowns, thawed

2 C. cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions:

In your crockpot, combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, onion, melted butter, salt, pepper, thawed hashbrowns and 1 ½ cups of shredded cheese. Mix well.

Cook on low heat for 4-5 hours until potatoes are cooked through.

Add remaining cheese prior to serving and allow to melt 5-10 minutes.

Now wasn’t that easy? For some folks the cheesier the better and that goes for us too. We just love cheese and in our household you may find that we use it for almost everything. There is always an abundance of cheese and cheese products in our refrigerator. So if you decide to make this delicious dish let us know about it. I would love to know what you think.
