There is nothing I love more than my family and when I say family I include my pets because they are family. I may have mentioned it a few times but the same things I want for my family I also want for my pets, well besides heading off to college of course. We tend to buy a lot of organic food and I know it’s expensive but it’s also good for you. Now if I want what’s best inside my body and that of my kids, why wouldn’t I want what’s best for my fur family as well? After all feeding them what’s best from the start means less trips to the vet, which can be very expensive, for me in the future. Our pet Cocker Spaniels Bentley and Ella are still puppies so we are still in training and whenever they do something unexpected or something that we ask, they get a treat. With the holidays approaching I wanted to get them a few stocking stuffers for dogs. When I found out that one of our favorite brand, Blue Buffalo™ brought out their new holiday treats, Blue Santa Snacks, I just had to go to PetSmart to get them.
If you’re not familiar Blue Buffalo, they make some of the best pet food on the market and not just for dogs but cats too. Their food is made with high quality, natural ingredients and I know that I can read their ingredients on the packaging and not have to worry. All their foods and treats are made with real meat, poultry or fish to provide your pet with a protein rich diet. There are no by-products so it’s just all wholesome goodness. They also contain plenty of whole grains, fresh veggies and fruits too. And just like me, BLUE like to think of their animals as part of the family and not just pets.
I picked up the BLUE Santa Snacks and I was more than impressed. Not only are they oven baked but they according to Bentley they were delicious too. Like all of the BLUE treats they have eaten in the past, these are healthy dog treats. I try and feed my pets with only wholesome grains and these treats are just what he needs. With ingredients including, oatmeal, cinnamon, pumpkin, carrots, flaxseed and barley. Delicious and nutritious!
So if you’re looking for a delicious, nutritious, healthy dog treat for your fur baby this holiday as a stocking stuffer, then look no further than Blue Buffalo’s Santa Snacks. If you’re also looking for grain-free treats, Blue Buffalo also has those for you too. You can find them at your local PetSmart. Bentley gave them his Paws Up and I’m sure your own dogs will too!
Let’s discuss: What do you think of the Blue Buffalo brand and are you picking up stocking stuffers for your pets this Christmas?
