Best Chunky Guacamole Recipe

The big game is coming up very soon. In less than a week, most of you will be sitting down in front of the TV with friends and family and rooting for your favorite football team. While I’m not a football fan I do however like to entertain and today I want to share with you something very quick and easy. Something that not only you will enjoy but the fans celebrating in your home. Very simply called Chunky Guacamole since you don’t make it as smooth as you usually do. This one is filled with super delicious chunks. So while you’re enjoying the game you can enjoy this mouth-watering chunky guacamole along with your favorite chip. The fans are going to enjoy it and so will you.

Yields: 4 servings

Time: 10 minutes

Here is what you’ll need.



Ingredients:

3 avocados – peeled and pitted

1 lime, juiced

1 teaspoon salt

1⁄2 cup diced onion

3 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped

2 roma (plum) tomatoes, diced

1 teaspoon minced garlic

1 pinch of cayenne pepper

1. Place avocado in a medium bowl. Using a sharp knife, slice it into chunks.

2. Add lime juice, salt, cilantro, tomatoes, cayenne pepper and garlic into the bowl. Use a fork to gently combine ingredients, being careful not to over mix. Refrigerate for 45 minutes to combine flavors, and then serve.

Here’s a tip we learned. To prevent the avocado in your guacamole from turning brown seal with plastic wrap before placing it in the refrigerator. Enjoy!
