The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round, the wheels on the bus go round and round, all through the town. How many times have you heard that song and it just stuck in your head. I’ve been singing, well kinda singing that song for a couple of days now along with mommy and it is truly stuck in my head. Well today the wheels on the bus, spells A-B-C. What am I talking about you ask? Introducing the Mega Bloks First Builders ABC Spell School Bus  and trust me when I say, it truly does spell ABC.

The Mega Bloks First Builders ABC Spell School Bus comes with 44 pieces which includes two sturdy building plates with wheels. Letter stickers to decorate the school bus and lots of smiles and giggles. It was fun building it up and knocking them down. Who toddler wouldn’t love that?

This is a real fun way for your little one to not only learn their letters but colors as well. Let your little one’s imagination run wild. Let them build and design as they see fit just the way I did. The pieces are very sturdy as with all Mega Bloks pieces. The only con that mommy and I found was that the storage box was now made of cardboard and wasn’t sturdy enough to store my pieces in after play.

Do you remember the days when it came in a hard plastic tub or bag? If you have one of those I would suggest not throwing it out. This set is fully compatible with all the other Mega Bloks First Builders sets.

So what are my thoughts on this Mega Bloks First Builder ABC Spell School Bus set?

The colors are beautiful and it’s a great learning tool for teaching letters and colors. Each alphabet is a sticker so if this falls in the water it may not last a long time. I do wish that it was pre-printed instead of being a sticker. Also would have been a bit easier if the letters were upper case instead of lower case for when teaching a toddler.

The cardboard box also isn’t practical for storage and I do wish they would come back with the harder plastic containers or even use the bags.

Besides those moot points this is a great Blok set for your little ones ages 1-5 and they would surely enjoy building, pushing and learning. They may be having so much fun that they might not even realize that they’re learning.

You can purchase this set online at the Mega Bloks store or at most toy retailers.
